As a former Secondary Teacher and School Administrator who has worked in CT, CA, UK, and NY, Gabriela saw a need for students to build their identities and skills necessary to succeed in post-secondary education or career pathways. 

Gabriela holds two Bachelor's Degrees (English Literature and Secondary Education) and a Master’s of Education from the University of Connecticut. She has been a dedicated educator and school leader for over a decade in both independent and public schools. Her professional experiences working within an international residential school, informs her evaluation of the quality and transparency of programs, especially related to residential safeguarding and transporting of students. 

Gabriela attended schools in Mexico, Brazil, the UK, and the US growing up an Uruguayan-American expat. These experiences and diverse challenges inspired her to pursue Educational Leadership; she believes with conviction that every child can do well in the right environment, with appropriately trained educators/therapists, and intentionally kind peer groups.
